The site contains information about living and deceased ancestors and relatives who contributed to who we are today. They have made possible the way we live, and we owe them our gratitude and an interest in truly understanding their life histories and experiences. Start exploring the site to follow your family history, including information about the family members who emigrated from Norway to North America.
Website use and navigation tips
Log in if you have a user account (use the Login link on the light blue menu line) or register for a free of charge user account if you are a new site user (click here or use the top right link). Note that information about living and deceased persons is visible to logged-in site users only. You will receive an email when your registration is approved and you can log in and view data. If we are not contacted after login, we will assume your implicit acceptance of our disclaimer, copyright, permissions and
data protection and cookies policy.
Click Your pages on the dark blue menu line to use your tailored links to your individual page and family, to your main and sub family branches and to your ancestors, descendants, cousins and other relatives. Click Family branches on the dark blue menu line for a list of the site’s eight main family branches with sub branches, and with tailored starting points, links, charts, reports, photos and maps. After login you can use the links on the light blue menu line to view Your individual page (or click your login name (top right)), to view Your family and to view Your ancestor chart (or click the ancestors' icon 
(top right)).
Zoom in or out of the Pedigree and Descendant charts, either by using the navigation buttons or the mouse wheel, and drag the charts on screen as needed.
Click QuickLinks on the dark blue menu line for a list of selected/the most used site features. Click SEARCH on the dark blue or the light blue menu line to do a quick search for persons, if needed by family branch. Click Advanced search in the search box to search with events, to search for families and to do a Google search on the site.
Use the Suggest, Submit Photo/Doc or the Submit family info tab on the individual pages to submit new information about a person or a family group, or if you want to update/correct information at our website. Use the Contact form 
or the Guestbook
